Everyone wants to look sexy, toned and healthy. So, with that in mind, what is the best way to go around getting a chiselled jawline and losing those chubby jowls?

The first answer is just to keep exercising until the weight comes away from the face. While it might not happen instantly, eventually it will be your face’s ‘turn’ and you’ll find an ideal body weight at which you can enjoy having slim features. That means that all the usual exercise and diet methods will work just fine to help you lose weight in the face – from HIIT to steady state cardio.

At the same time though, something you can do is to tone and build the facial muscles. Don’t be fooled by some of the ridiculous facial exercises that people recommend online but know that strengthening up the jaw muscles can result in a pronounced difference. The best way to improve this then is by chewing – so consider taking up a habit of chewing gum.

Exercising will also have effects throughout the body. So even if you focus mainly on curling biceps, the anabolic response will result in a little more tone for those facial muscles too.

Finally, if you can’t stand carrying that excess weight around the face any longer and you just want to look slimmer immediately, consider having a go at contouring. This makeup technique is an option for men and women and it can immediately make you look more defined.
